When the existing gas fired heaters in the warehouse started to fail Dr Organic looked to a renewable heating source to be in more in line with their company values . They opted to build a brand new energy centre to house a 1MW biomass boiler. The boiler installed was supplied by Wood Energy and is Binder 950kW. 

Aston Cord Energy Services provided a turn key solution dismantling an existing building, obtaining all necessary permissions for a new structure, building a new energy centre to house the new boiler and fuel store and installing 14 new heaters including 2.4 km of pipework into the warehouse to deliver the heat.

The project was delivered on time and on budget and the client has been delighted with the resulting heat produced.
